EPIC EHR Wave 1 Training
Welcome to UMC’s Epic Training Portal. It is mandatory that all end users complete their assigned training modules prior to receiving login rights to the system. Education of end users is critical in ensuring that you are able to confidently navigate the application module for your specific role. Training is required because Epic is a robust, integrated system that functions very differently from current systems. Training helps prepare you so you can adopt Epic without compromising patient care. Although the videos you are about to view are the basics of the application, we have customized Epic to reflect specific UMC workflow decisions and processes.
